Can a shooting script be bigger then that of a spe

Well, perhaps I should rephrase myself.. does the rule 1 page = 1 min apply to a shooting script, please help!

as a rule of thumb "yes", but as you are well aware... nothing is certain. Only once you've got your shooting script and have actually started thinking of the shot list and storyboard can you get to be more accurate... hope this helps... humble humble...

Be careful with 'rules of thumb' like those. I made a short which had a ten page shooting script and ran to 17 mins. Perhaps this is a one off, but I even cut some of the dialogue.
